Had this while i was clearing my notice board. Found this poem during my college days and i thought it was very inspiring. After more than 5 year, I look at myself to see whether I'm a better man compare to then... I won't know what to say more. Anyhow, enjoy!

Good Men are indeed all around us.

We pass them on the streets, in the malls, and the halls at work.

Most we can’t see because we don’t know what a good man really looks like.

He usually isn’t flashy enough or rich enough to turn our heads.

He might not wear a suit or push a Lexus.

He might not have a body like Tyson with a Denzel face.

But, as you mature, you realize it’s better to find someone who’s got your back rather than someone who turns your head.

A good man doesn’t agree wholeheartedly with everything you say.

He doesn’t just tell you what you want to hear and do the opposite.

He doesn’t declare how sensitive, sweet, caring, sincere, etc. he is (he won’t have to because it shows).

He has his own opinions and yours may clash, but he doesn’t have to degrade you to prove he’s right.

He even admits at times to being wrong, especially if you are willing to do the same.

A good man is not going to meet every item on your checklist.

He is human with frailties and faults mixed in with all of his wonderful, strong attributes.

He needs your love and respect.

He needs to feel that you don’t live to catch him doing something wrong so you can declare, “Aha! I knew you were a dog!”

A good man isn’t insecure about his woman having great achievements.

In fact, he is her number one supporter and becomes disappointed with her when she begins to lose herself, especially for the sake of not hurting his feelings, or only wanting to make him happy.

His happiness comes with seeing her excel in her dreams and accomplishing her goals.

For as she excels and is exalted, a good woman will bring her good man right along with her.

A good man doesn’t necessarily give you a huge birthday or Valentine’s gift.

He shows his love in the ways that are comfortable to him.

Don’t judge him by TV standards.

No one is really living a fairy tale.

You’ll miss out on your own fairy tale by buying into the myth that our men are no good. It’s just not true.

A good man is a man of his word.

He says what he means and means what he says.

His word is his bond.

He never leaves you wondering if he is going to call or show up - he is dependable.

A good man has a love and a heart for God.

As his relationship and love with and for God grows so will his relationship and love with and for you grow...

cause I'm in a mood to blog again!

So many people came up with their so called resolution (define: a decision to do something or to behave in a certain manner).
So after all it is just a decision and that doesn't mean I must necessarily obliged to complete it by the end of this year.
So then here it is...

To save the extra lump of cash for future. Just in case if my family were to disown me, at least there's a repository or a contingency fund for me to survive on my own outside. (but what about the MacBook you've been wanting to buy? You know your mom will still love you as ever - We'll see about that after the 15th Jan's keynote by Steve Jobs first)
To be a better man! Astrology predicts that I will be a meaner and a badder person this year. As how this predicament has been foretold through the charts that were charted and how the zodiacs has correlated and how the stars has been aligned and how it has crosses the moon and the sun.... I will live this year to defy it! (but resistance is futile my friend - true! so like what i said above, I'm am not obliged to fulfill everything that I just said. This post is just to increase traffic. Hence I will still try my best la ok!)
To be closer to that someone special. You know that I've always want to feel closer to you each day. To have this intimate and personal feeling with that someone special. (well you know the uncertainties will somehow throw you further from each other - another year ahead, another chance to try. I know it's gonna be worth the try) - what are you readers thinking la! it's not that la, only those who're there on the 4th Jan will know who I'm talking about

don't put on so much hope ok. this may not be for long. at least it's not the "limpeh ka lu kong" post you see when you choose to see whether i've updated this blog yet.

it's been almost 2 and a half year since i last update. time to wake from hibernation or rather hiatus or rather this procrastination. or maybe i'm just bored from work and since i've got nothing better to do?

ok. i'm just gonna make this quick. coz if i take time to think of what to write, it won't be me. rite?

guess blogging is real only when thoughts are coming out spontaneously from ur mind.

haha, just a word of reminder. if i ever mention that i'm gonna start blogging again. don't believe it. i'm truly a big pathetic liar when coming to blogging. i'm a parasite reading other ppl's blog every other day. sometimes after reading some good ones, i'll feel inspired to blog something interesting (to keep my hits high too) but to a reason, i'll surely lose it when i hit the add new entry link in xanga. i know! it's damn potong steam! i'm sure many of you have experienced this before. maybe we should come out with a symptom or a disease for it. the blog-o-potong-steam feeling!
